done for the day.

That was me earlier this evening.

Today was just one of those days... I had a plan, a list of things that HAD to be completed. But I really thought it would take a total of three or four hours. Umm, wrong. Things that I worked for hours on ended up not working. And so I am just going to let it go for today. I'm going to sit with my sweet husband and relax and enjoy the rest of my evening. And start again tomorrow...

that is the funniest picture i've ever seen.

on a really hectic sunday morning (that just happened to be Christmas eve) i arrived at R.S. slightly flustered. a friend of mine (about my mom's age) leaned over and said "you've done all that you can do - now just sit back and relax".

i've thought of that many times since then. you can only do so much.
