Sorry for the silence. We passed a long week in the hospital waiting room. My brother-in-law Nathan suffered a severe athsma attack Friday night that completely shut off his air supply. His lungs were so constricted that it was difficult even to force air into them. He was later placed in an induced coma to allow his vitals to improve, in the hopes that his body would be able to function on its own soon, and that he would regain consciousness when taken out of sedation. But that was not meant to be... Nathan passed away this afternoon.
I wish you all could have known him. He was always such an example of someone who was gentle and kind, despite his own personal struggles.
Godspeed, Nathan. We love you.
