So... I've been a bit negligent of my blog, eh? Well, I'm turning over a new leaf! (I can talk about leaves now. Spring is coming... I can feel it!!) Anyway, I've decided to post something every day in March, so stay tuned! I was going to do it in February, since it's the shortest month and I thought it would be the easiest... yes, I'm lazy... but since that didn't happen, I'll take March on. And for good measure, I'm updating today, even though it's still February. Good for me. (Hey, somebody had to say it!)
I feel like this has been a crazy, busy month, but looking back, it's really been full of lovely, homey things. Not homey like yo, homey... but homey like... well, you knew what I meant to start with, anyway.
And since this is just a bonus post, after all, I'm just going to list a few things with little narration.
Earlier this month, there was snow... and Zach was oh-so-happy to participate in his first official snowball fight with the neighbor kids. He felt so grown up:
A day spent with friends (including Zach's proclaimed future wife, Parker) playing house, building snowmen, and baking crayon cookies:
A perfectly happy Valentine's Day spent at home (yippee for snow days!) We had lots of heart-shaped foods, including chocolate heart pancakes for dinner, and of course sugar cookies for all, both real and of the handstitched play food variety:
Lots and lots of spring cleaning/ organizing (I'll share photos of the house sometime next month), and listening to Jack Johnson and Elizabeth Mitchell... my new favorite. Sooo uplifting and sweet and fun.
See you tomorrow!!
